Hi Karen:

Based on your description, it appears you are having a problem with your
router and/or modem. This assumes that you have a wireless connection
for your Braille Note. To fix this, the easiest thing to do is reset
the router and/or modem. To do this:
1. Locate the router and/or modem and feel on the back for a round plug
probably near one side or the other. This plug is for the conection to
the wall outlet.
2. Pull out the plug or plugs. If you have both a router and modem you
have to pull both plugs. I suggest unplugging the router first, then
the modem and then plugging them back in modem first, then router. You
can tell the difference between the modem and router if you have both
because the modem has three connectors on the back, the aforementioned
power connector, and two square connectors which lead to your computer
and to the internet connection. The router has more than two square
connectors usually, and if it's a wireless router, it has an antenna on
it.
3. After you have unplugged the router and/or modem, wait for about 30
seconds, then plug them or it back in.

This should reset your connection and your Braille Note should happily
send and receive e-mail messages.
