If it is a Microsoft issue, why do the Voice Sense, Braille Sense and Braille 
Plus all do 
fine with word documents at least through 2003.
I have not tried them with 2007 "docx" formatted documents, but those other 
note takers solved the conversion 
issues that the braille notes haven't.
