I second this, especially because (if hw rewrites ks to do it) we
could run keymail in the background and know when we had new
mail. A list member said that we would have to have a constant
connection to the internet, but it would be a simple thing for ks
to know that when there is no connection present, do not try to
receive mail (so no errors are thrown that the user would think
would be handled automatically) and for the bn to check as soon
as a connection was reestablished.

I like the current notifications of download status of email, but
I think it
would be a good idea if this was possible to put an option in the
KeyMail
set up menu to choose whether we also want a sound to play when a
message is
being received. It would also be good if we could select an
option to tell
the BN to automatically check for new mail every so often like
you can with
Outlook I think.
