The numlock affects the external keyboard. The BN has no number pad.

Hi all,
I've discovered, when I have my external USB keyboard plugged into the
BrailleNote QT, that I can turn the num lock on and off, and use the
Num pad to enter numbers instead of using the numbers on the main part
of the keyboard. And when i use the Num Lock key to toggle it on and
off, the BN announces: "Num lock on" or "Num lock off". Is there a way
to turn num lock on and off from within the BrailleNote itself when no
external keyboard is connected? How would I go about this and how
would it affect the keyboard on the BN? Or is this just something that
pertains to the external keyboards?
