Hi,

There is a program for the old Braille LItes--a metronome. I would therefore think that someone could write such a thing for the BN. As for Braille Music translators: If you're thinking print to Braille, you really need a computer, scanner and a means of gaining accurate scanned images--of course, that's Goodfeel from Dancing Dots.

I haven't been following the threads about suggestions for new features in Keysoft, so I don't know if this has been mentioned. A year or two ago someone mentioned that they thought it would be really cool if there could be a metronome in the BrailleNote, and I thought that would be such a cool feature, and one that a lot of us who love music would like. Another feature that I personally would like would be chimes of some type, like on a clock. When I recently went on vacation, having only my BrailleNote, I was in a place where there were no chiming clocks. At home I have two chiming clocks, a musical clock, two talking clocks on my computer, and two hourly chimes on my computer. So as you can imagine, I was going through clock withdrawal. I think it would be neat to have some type of chime that we could enable or disable when we chose. <grin>

Many people have asked for both of these, the links in emails particularly. HW knows about them, and we are waiting to see what, if anything, happens. For what it is worth, I agrever with you on both ideas, with the added suggestion that there be an alternative way to click when using a braille display, or that using the touch cursor buttons on a url will not work like it does for links in keyweb, only pressing enter or some other special key.

Have a great day,
Alex

hi list. i don't know if this feature already exists. i think
there
should be a way to action a link whilst in keymail or keyword.
secondly, when you are on the internet, it should start-up
keymail (or
at least give you the option to start-up keymail) when you click
on a
"mailto" link. just a suggestion.
