I think it was just saying that the sender thought that there was only a certain number of messages a person can send to the list in a 24-hour period. That actually sounds vaguely familiar, but I cannot think of where I heard about it. If there is such a limit, I am sure you are not there yet and will be notified by email if you manage to reach it.
