This is not possible since the screen reader is required to drive the speech synthesizer.

Subject: [Braillenote] braillenote as external speech synth.

Hi all, I am trying to learn my braille note mpower BT. I would like to take it with me places and use it as an external speech synthesizer for computers without screen reading software on them. Is this actually possible?

I recall reading that it was possible but can't find via the index of helpp topics how to do this. Any insight as to how to do it or where to look for more information about this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kate
