I'm not sure what you mean by "braille input mode." When you create a
braille document, you are told, "Braille input is required." To turn off
this prompt, press function k. The press enter until you get to "Do you
want to be advised when braille entry is required? Currently yes." Press n
for no.
If you have accidentally put the QT into one-handed mode, I can't help you
with that.
