Hi,
At the moment, you can only enter the following characters into a
numeric field in KeyBase: 0; 1-9; "."; "-", (as first character
only).
So, you can not, for example, enter a "$".
Could an option be added to numeric fields which when their value
is displayed, the display would contain an added currency sign.
It would also be good to be able to set that currency sign for
that field.
This might be easier than changing the field to allow all sorts
of possible currency symbols.
It would mean you still couldn't enter one, but would make the
value in the field on display clearer.
Whether this is changed or not I also ask for something else.
If you try to add an illegal character into a numeric field,
currently you get the message "Number out of range".
Two examples that provoke this are "$1250" or "123,456".
A better warning might be something like "Illegal character at
position <illegal character position>".
In those two cases above the <illegal character position> would
be "1" and "4".
Regards,
Steve.
