I subscribed to this list a few months ago but got no mail messages. Now someone has flicked a switch and they're pouring in.
The reason I subscribed was to find out if the low output of the audio from the Braillenote (mPower) was a common problem. I discovered from the archives of the list that other people had also found it to be so. I do not use the Braillenote myself but a friend of mine does. He loves music but is becoming increasingly deaf (he is 80). Another friend of ours solved the problem by building a small amplifier to connect between the Braillenote and the headphones, powered by the USB socket, and I put some mp3 music onto an SD memory card. Job done. I'll tell my friend that the list is active again and he can join if he so wishes. Best wishes to you all.
