Hi Blake, Stephen and list, I'll answer Blake's question first: This message means that the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) was unable to give your BrailleNote a unique network-based IP address of its own. The way to solve this problem is using static IP address (that is, you type the IP address in the range of your network IP address). DHCP, in more formal definition then, is a way of network routers and servers to assign IP addresses automatically to a network device, such as a BrailleNote in a network environment.
