Hi all, I just got the new Ambicom wl54G wifi card from hw because my Sandisk card died. I have to say: I HATE THIS CARD! It takes a lot more battery than other cards, it is too thick to fit in the side slot (where I find it is much more out of the way), and, worst of all, it is always disconnecting and reconnecting to the network here at school (the network has not changed and no other device does this, so it must be the card). I keep trying to check email, and every so often it will start to connect to the pop server, then say "not connected". When I press space-e then i, for "hang up immediately" (the bn doesn't automatically close the email retrieval attempt until it beeps for a while and eventually realizes it is not going to work) I get a strange error: "the code segment cannot be more than 64k". Anyway, is anyone else having the connection problems I described? Does anyone o if the sandisk cards are still available anywhere?
