When I first upgraded to an mpower I discovered this. I tried it in front of a school administrator and I was locked up for about 11 minutes. Then it unlocked with a press of the reset button and everything was normal again). This was on a keysoft 7.2 build 47 machine.

I'm scared of doing this as I could lock up my BN forever.
Anyway, in
support information mode, press h. Press enter or y at the
prompt. Next time
you switch off it will go into deep sleep.

Subject: [Braillenote] How to save battery

Hi all. Sometime back someone explained the way to save the
battery by
sending Braille note to deep sleep or whatever term used for
that mode. If
you are going out for some days without your BN, it is a great
battery
saver and you don't have to set your date and time when you
return.  Can
someone please remind how is it done? I don't remember the
subject line to
look for it in the archives.
Thanks for any suggestion
Regards

TaraPrakash
