the way I'd suggest is to have the Braille document stored on the bn, the file with the questions and the answers. when you go to save the file in word, just select the thumb drive and make sure the file will be saved as a word file. that way, only the word files are on the drive, and the Braille versions are still on the unit for safe keeping.

Subject: [Braillenote] thumb drive

Hi List,
I am an aide working with a third grade student. She recently received a BrailleNote mPower. I need help finding the easiest way to open a Word document from a thumb drive, translating it to braille, inserting answers, translating it back to a Word document, and then saving the changes on the thumb drive. I think I am making it harder than it is. I end up with a braille document and a Word document on the BrailleNote and the thumb drive. I am confused.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Kathy
