Not sure why your BrailleNote won't fast charge when the battery is low. Suggest you contact Humanware Tech Support at: +1 (800) 722-3393 and follow the prompts for Tech Support on Blindness Products. I suppose it could be something weird with the AC adapter, but I believe the charging control circuits are in the BN itself. Brian Brian K.
