Hi Tina, Alex gave you the answer, so I'll try to explain what this file type is: The .docx extension is used under Microsoft Office Word 2007. There is a command under File Ribon to save this docx file as earlier doc file. The reason for the inability of the PC to open tyhis file type is because you don't have Office 2007. BN will open it because, although it does not support it, KeySoft (more specifically, KeyWord) doesn't care about what type of file it is (although, in some cases, it will warn you about the word document being not that of Word 95/97 version). Word 2007 files (.docx), as well as other Office 2007 files are supported under Windows CE 6.0. Cheers, Joseph

I'd be surprised if you are wrong. hmm, suppose I could just try when I go to sprint to get help with my phone or maybe by then I'll just get a card from amazon and be done with the idea. They did say laptop and nothing about pdas but then their push seems to be to get most people to use their phones as an all in one device but since I can do wireless and sync my planner with my pc, if this card doesn't work then my heart won't be broken. Now, for those of you who always comment on what the bn doesn't like to read, I had a question. I recently got some e-mail attachments that the bn willl read but my pc won't accept one, witch says something about a file with a .doc extension with an x at the end of it. The bn gave me gibberish, and the pc didn't know what to do with it. The other files this restaurant gC gave me read on the bn just fine again, on the bn and not the pc but the main dinner menu with the .doc with the x at tthe end won't read on either of them. Could this be excel which I don't know how to use either with jaws or the bn. Should I just ask if they can re-e-mail me the menu? Just thought it was cool that the bn could do something the pc couldn't. ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
