The bn cannot be speaking at the time of the alarm. Because you are reading a book, the bn is speaking and the alarm, annoyingly, will not interrupt speech.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] alarm

This may sound like a silly question but when I am in book reader
and am reading a book, why does my alarm not interupt my book and
sound at the time given for it to go off? Do I have to be in a
certain mode for the alarm to sound? Sissy
