Yes you can put the maps on an sd card as long as it is not
highcopasity. But the drawback is sd cards can fall out of the
bn if bumped. That is why I only use the sd cards for gps if I
am not walking anywhere. That is just my opinion.

Is it possible to use a SD card to run the Sendero Groups GPS
program?
I am now using a 2 Gb Compact Flash card which doesn't hold all
the maps so
I can buy a larger SD card for a lot less than what I paid for
the 2 Gb CF
card, but don't want to find out the GPS program won't work off
an SD card.
