Hey there David, Most thumb drives work with the braille note just fine. So you should not have problems there. Just plug in your thumb drive and it should say "hard disk ready." To answer your vr question. You can do that, but you can't unzip the books on your Braillenote any longer due to the new zip protocol. So you will have to unzip the files on your pc and then just transfer them to your stream that way. I don't know the address to the old site, but it was posted here a few days ago. Aaron
