thank god not another braillenote repair bill even though someone
who works for the europe branch of humanware is a mate from my
school days.
i left the braillenote unplugged and switched on or unplugged and
even switched off because it seriously froze on me just when i
was going to reply to that message sent by someone offering to
contact humanware on my behalf about my problem downloading my
email and i found the battery had totally run down and the cells
on the bt keyboard had unfrozen from the starting keysoft
message.
i pluggged in the unit and i heard a couple of beeps and it asked
me to reset my time and date and now it is working normally again
including my problem with the receiving and even sending of email
because i downloaded 19 messages and didn't get the disk full
after any of them.
how strange.
only thing i have not tried since it froze last night is the gps
software which i am unable to test as yet due to it being the
early hours of the morning.
hopefully fingers crossed i will only have to do a pairing in
bluetooth options and only have to say "no" to searching for my
gps receiver and a to activate activsync.
