I would like to see this implemented; it would make reading RFBD books SO much easier than it is now, and support basic audio CDs along with CDs that store files; my professors are always burning files to CD instead of sending them, so this would help immensely. The mPower supports a few disk drives, though none are on the supported hardware list, but it will not yet play audio disks or automatically load a book like hw could make it do.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Hardware suggestion

Hi, folks: I know that, usually, people have suggestions for new
software. However, mine is for new hardware. Here 'tis. Why
not take the old disk drive, and convert it into a COULD drive?
You could plug it into the PCMCIA slot, just like the disk drive.
But, this little guy would play COULD's, or, more importantly, it
would enable not to read COULD rom stuff, like the groups that
sell the Could's with arajj books on 'em. Seems like that would
be a great idea! I should know about great ideeas; after all,
wasn't I the one who helped Columbus discover Ohio? Blessings,
Bob
