Although I do know braille and have for years, when I got my bn I
found the keyboard learn function very helpful.  It isn't for
just having it tell you that you have pressed a letter which
people should already know.  I used it to help me learn some of
the command structure.  For example, when i got my bn I didn't
know how to use page up or page down.  When I went into keyboard
learn mode by pressing different key combinations I was able to
figure out what did what.  I think it is safe to say there are
features which some would get rid of but even if you don't use
the feature others do those feature may help someone else.
