Hey guys:
I've been reading all or at least many of the messages that have been posted throughout the past few days, regarding what Hw is doing or not doing for it's customers. Although I
can't help you with the html stuff, I think I might be able to
assist you somewhat regarding using word files with the bn.Be advised,
that I'm not a computer geek, and I don't know the ins and outs of the
braillenote like Joseph does, but I would like to at least try to help if I can, even if
its just a little bit. It appears, that some of you are having a
formatting issue with .docx files. I've had trouble with these too. Even a pc won't open them sometimes. Well, I know of a way that might help you get around this conflict with word files. Have any of you ever heard of
zamzar.com? If not, I'd be happy to explain how it works to you. It
might be considered to be a bit
time consuming to some people, but for now at least, by using this
service, you’ll have a way
to translate word documents, and use them on your bn the way you need
to. The nice thing about this service, is that its free to use, and is
available twenty-four hours a day. Not only that, they're always adding more and more formats to their already existing list of file extentions to which they currently translate. Hopefully this suggestion will work for you. If it doesn't well, at least I
tried. For those of you who are interested
in finding out about zamzar.com, you can eemail me off list to avoid cluttering the list. I can be reached at [email protected].
