Hello Bob and listers,

rar files contain data in compressed format. The .rar file may contain 1 or more files of any type. Keysoft supports .zip compressed files, although unpacking them is more complex than it need be. .rar is rather an exotic format that will probably never be supported by Keysoft., see if your sender could forward them in .zip

Regards,

Dave.

Subject: [Braillenote] opening RAR files

Hi, gang: From time to time, I am sent documents in RAR. As
from
as I know, there's no way of opening these on the BN. Is that
true? If not, could someone please tell me how to do it. This
information would be helpful, because it would mean that I could
open them independently, instead of asking others to do it for
me. Thanks, in advance, for your answers. Bob
