Yes I have noticed that when you try to calibrate the battery can take a
long time to go flat.

Why is that, when you are on a road trip or something where you cannot
charge, it always seems that the battery loses its charge quickly, but, when
you're trying to recalibrate the battery, it can sit at 0 for like half an
hour and not die?
