Hello all,
They are! To overcome the problem of porting documents between
differint word processors, a mark-up language by invented to
resolve the problem. I think a simle example will best
illustrate the point:
<bold><center>MY HEADING</center></bold
It's probably 20 years since I last looked at an RTF via a text
editor so the syntax may not be correct, but I am sure you get
the idea. So why files are not viewable is a puzle.
I guess you could rename an RTF file and change the extention to
txt and see what you get.
