Hi, the braillenote has no program to work with a scanner. The
only sort of scanner I know of that you can get files from is one
called the scan r. This is a stand alone scanner which talks and
you can save stuff you have scanned on it, then you can transfer
the saved file to your braillenote. I'm not really sure how it
all works but when I was looking into getting a talking scanner I
was going to get the scan R because I was told that the files
could be put onto my braillenote. I didn't end up getting one
because I got a mobile phone which can translate written material
after you take a photo of it and this is allot more portable then
the scan R.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote and Scanners
Hi, all. I've seen this subject line periodically on the list,
but never
paid any attention to it, as it didn't sound like it was anything
that would
interest me. But on another list I'm on, people have been
talking about
real small scanners that they just love, and that got me to
wondering: Is
it possible to hook up a scanner to the BrailleNote and scan
something into
it? Has anyone ever done it? Inquiring minds want to know. If
it can be
done, I just might have to look at some of these tiny scanners
people have
been talking about.
