Hi Kevin and all, The microphone that I plug into the amp comes with an extention so that I can fit it into the mike jack on the computer and on the BrailleNote. I did a recording using the computer mike, and it turned out pretty well. There was a bit of background noise which was to be expected, but a lot less than what I get from the internal microphone. I was even able to put the mike up close to my keyboard and record a song using the BrailleNOte. If anyone would like a copy of the recording please let me know off list and I will send it to you.
