Hello all,

I have a client that is having issues with her Braille note not seeing
folders on her SD card.

I've told her that I've never had this problem before, but maybe someone on
the list can help her.

You can either reply directly to her, or through me. She has given me her
consent to direct her problem to the list, being that she is not on the list
at this time.

Take care.

James

Subject: Has this ever happened to you?

Hi, Jim, I wonder if you experienced this situation on the BrailleNote,
namely, the device failing to recognize folders or files that the computer
recognizes when PC and/or SD cards are inserted into a card reader. If this
has happened to you, how did you retrieve folders which hide as
sub-directories, and files in said folders? I have a big folder on my SD
card called fiction from bookshare.org, but the only way my card reader sees
it is to go and search it as a sub-directory. How can I retrieve folders and
files and restore them where they belong? I don't want to re-download books
from Bookshare. The thing is, I want to get at my fiction folder and its
files so I can read them on my BrailleNote in Braille. Also, completely
changing the subject, Jim, how can I enable the hibernate button on my
computer so I have the choice of letting the computer hibernate as one more
choice? When it comes to the turn-off choices on the start menu, hibernate
is not spoken. Can you help? Boy, are you being given a lot of questions!
Now, Jim, I've emailed humanware about the folder and file retrieval
question. Oh, if only I could find commands for "Retrieve/restore folder"
and "retrieve/restore file/files"! Regards, your discombobulated student,
Kim. P.S.: Help, Cecil, help! Help, Cecil, help! I can't blame dishonest
John for this one. Kim.
