Hi, it kind of sounds like there is something wrong with the
site. You might want to try again in a few days.
Or if it's the Braillenote, try a reset with no keys held down.

When I go to the National Archives website on my BN I can't seem
to connect to any of their links ie "search the archives" when I
his enter after hearing the beep it says that I am there but when
I press space with G my BN starts reading from the home page of
the site. Can anyone help out this rookie BN websurfer with some
tips?
