Bookshare is wonderful, but I have to
tell you, when you get a large zipped
file like that, it's really hard to
break them up. Also, when you see the
words "almost no errors", you have to do
a little work. I appreciate Bookshare,
but where the Bible is concerned, I want
to make sure I have it exactly right.
Alex, I just went up on your site for
the NIV, and it's wonderful!

This is true, but you will get a file
that is, I think, 3 or 4 mb
in size; this is a huge pain to manage,
which is why I took the
NIV and broke it up (a long process!)
and put it online. Maybe
if I have some time I will do the same
for the King James. Oh
right, I forgot: I was missing some text
from my NIV copy, so
someone on the list, I am not sure who,
sent me all the books and
I replaced mine with those; the new ones
are what is up on that
link.

can go up on the old site
and do a search. I'm almost positive
the King James Version of
The Bible is there and can be downloaded
as a BRF File. Good
