I have not had this problem, sorry. When a media file stops it
stops speech, but I have not seen the speech reading something
else stop the media player. A rather large book... Sounds like
you are running out of memory, which is not surprising in ce4.2.
Have a great day,
Alex

It's usually when I am reading a rather large book, and it's
files on my PC card.

Can you describe the circumstances more? Is this a local file, an
internet stream, or files played over a network? What are you
doing at the time?
Have a great day,
Alex

Why is it that the media player will randomly shut off? It
happened in Build 29 and it just happened this morning, and I
just got the new upgrade. The other BN I used recently when mine
was sent in had the same problem.
