Hi Louis,

I think what people are saying is that when you receive 25 messages in
one batch from one person and a number of them have no content, then
this causes annoyance, and it is most likely that these emails will be
deleted without being properly read.

I would also agree with you that it is tiresome when people use the list
to continually test out their email connection.  Some testing is
inevitable, but I could name some members that have had more email
addresses than I've had hot breakfasts.
