Hi Peter,

The message usually means a file is corrupt somewhere.
It could be on the SD card, but is more likely to be on the BN.
Check how much space you have on the Flash drive and on the SD card. Check whether all your directories made it into the backup - they probably did.

To find out which file(s) are giving trouble, try doing a backup of each folder on to the SD card.
Within one of these you will probably get the same error.
Once you know which folder, try backing up it's subdirectories individually. Once you know which subdirectory it is, try copying a number of the files.
Basically, narrow down to which file it is.
The copy or backup forces the BN to try to read the whole file.
Once you know which file, you could try to see if you can enter it, but it's probably broken. If you have a previous backup which includes this file, replace it from there.
If not, you will need to remake it.

Regards,
Steve.

Subject: [Braillenote] message while backing up

When doing a back up, back up all! on to an s d card. During the
process I got the message, "the sector cannot find the file
specified". I press enter and I think all the files were backed
up.
What does this message mean?
Peter.

Did you have to rename the file to be able to unzip it? I
haven't tried the
new book unzipping feature, so not sure how it works with
Bookshare books or
as just a regular unzipper.

Hi all,
I just znzipped a file that contained many files AND FOLDERS! It
unzipped
fine, though I was told that "the system cannot find the path
specified".
Aside from that meaningless error, it all worked fine!! I am not
sure if
some zip programs zip differently and so will not be supported,
but if
something is zipped by Windows, at least, it can be unzipped
just fine,
even if it contains folders.

Have a great day,
Alex
