So if you turn bluetooth off, when you turn it back on again by answering yes 
to the bluetooth on prompt, do you have to go through that whole list of stuff 
again, or can you just exit right out of the connectivity menu after answering 
yes to bluetooth on? 
    Are cf cards in the PK also a drain? Also, is there some danger of frying 
something, either the battery, the PK, or the card and its stored info, by 
turning on the PK with the card inserted?

  Bluetooth does drain the BrailleNote's battery, so HumanWare recommends 
turning it off when not in use for a long period of time.  An SD card plugged 
in also adds to the battery drain, but at a fairly insignificant amount.
