I was not aware that you could do both, but that would be nice.  She was
mainly interested in the reading aspect of Spanish documents on her
notetaker.

I'm a little confused.  Does your student want to assign dot combinations to
unicode characters so that he/she can see the dots when reading the
character in computer braille?  Or does your student want to assign a macro
to write a unicode character more quickly or both?
