Hello Nicole,
I have had a usb drive on my Braillenote break as well, but I
don't really need two of those, so it wasn't a very big problem
for me.
I have had my compactflash slot break a lot, so I recommend that
you put in a card, and never remove or take it out again. If you
want to remove or put in a card for the pc card slot, that's
fine. That slot is strong.
I'm not sure if you would call this a part, but I have had some
braille displays break. This is from the oil from your hands.
You see, you could wash your hands as much as possible, but the
oil effects the braille cells.
