Hi folks,
I hope you had happy Easter weekend.
I've enjoyed reading quite a few posts that seem to interest
quite a few persons here. Instead of "cluttering" the list with
multiple posts, I have decided to write my views and responses in
this single email:
* Wileless: WiFi is supported starting with KeySoft 6.0 (original
PK release); for Classics, it came with 6.1; for mPower, ever
since release time (6.2).
* As for purchasing WiFi cards, you can try purchasing it from
Amazon or Ebay; but it would be better for the person to buy it
from HW.
* Test messages: Perhaps there could have been some "deeper"
issues, such as bad Internet connection, testing new email
account and so forth; but excessive test messages that has no
objectives is, in my opinion, a cause of clutter and list
breakdown.
* Also, we have a diverse group of people here. We have quite a
few college students such as Alex and myself, kids who are in
school such as Blake and Paul, and other such folks. We also
have older folks out here, such as Rhonda. In addition, we have
a diverse experties present on this list: some would be good at
BrailleNote while others are just starting to learn this device.
So my ultimate advice (as I stress it all the time) is this: it
is better for the list to be full of respect and be considerate.
I understand that some people have urge to say something "quite
harsh" when it was unintended to imply it (sometimes I admit that
I do it), but if we exercise some care, I believe we could make
this list a helpful environment where people can share what they
know and new folks can learn something valuable.
Hope I made my points clear; if it was not, I apologize. If you
have any "personal" comments, please write to me off list.
Thanks,
Cheers,
Joseq
