Actually, there is an email list. However, the lady putting together
and managing the list had a stroke recently, so the list was suspended
until she recovers sufficiently to start it up again.
I haven't checked this out personally, but I understand that someone on
the bookshare volunteers list is doing some sort of email list in the
interum.

Yes, the site is slower; this is Bookshare's fault mostly, not the bn
so much, though I am not sure how much is whose fault since people
using Sense notetakers have not reported slow-downs in access.
Anyway, it is not just you, it is everyone using a bn with 7.5.31 (or
later, if 8 is ever released). Also, there is no daily email. I
emailed Bookshare about exactly this suggestion and was told it would
be considered; I guess it was considered a bad idea or something, but
I would absolutely LOVE to have it!!

I've just renewed my Bookshare subscription.
I had let my subscription laps because my BN MPower could not
access the site.
Well, now that I've up graded I find the new BOOKSHARE web site
very sluggish.
Has anyone noticed this? Is it just me?
I'd like to hear from you that use your BNS to download books.
The downloading is not the problem. The new zip files download
much faster than before.
It's the navigation, going from page to page which seems sluggish
to me.
Lastly, is there a daily e-mail that I can sign up for that
would notify me of new books?
