Hi, in addition to installing any drivers from humanware, check the
documentation for your adapter to see if there is a CD with drivers. If the
appropriate adapter drivers are installed, you can check to see which Com
Port is being used for your adapter.

My laptop only has USB ports; no serial ports. However, I have a serial
USB adapter. When I try to use this to connect my bn to my laptop for the
Visual Display, it does not work. Could my adapter be causing the problem?
I am using the serial cable provided by hw. Oh, yes... bn bt MPower ks 7.5

Did you install its driver into your laptop yet? Mine works. Leslie--

Sharon, pardon me if I'm in error, but if you have
7.5 build 29, there's no charge to go up to the HW
site and download the build 31. It's supposed to
help especially with the use of the bookshare
site. Bookshare can be accessed with build 31,
but, be warned, it is a little slow in
downloading the materials you want. HTH. I'm sure
if I've goofed somebody will let us know about it.
Hugh
