Hello David, you can convert the protected files with Goldwave or
other converting programs. Also, you can burn a CD of the
protected files using Windows Media Player and then use Windows
Media Player to rip the disc. Then you would have the files
without the protection in whatever format your Windows Media
Player is configured for ripping.

Is there a way to translate WMA protected files to just plane WMA
