Hi,
This has happened on all databases I have tried, (2 or 3),
someone else on the list has also seen it and HW in the UK have
reproduced it and are looking into.
I'm using BN BT32 7.5.29.
The latest atempt was a two field database, (one numeric and one
string field), containing two records.
I made a duplicate of a database on SD card copying it from
flash.
This was done with File Directory space chord "y" on the
definitions file.
Then entered KeyBase, selected the source database on flash,
chose copy to another database.
I believe it was at the point where I had selected the
destination file I got the error "The operation completed
successfully".
If I use KeyBase to lookup records in the database on the SD card
it reads the records.
Changing the name of the destination database didn't help.
Work arounds:-
1. HW created a duplicate database structure from scratch on the
SD card and then found the copy to work.
2. Create a CSV file from the source.
I modified the CSV file so all records ended with new line rather
than space and saved as Keyword.
Then import this file into the destination.
Had to search using all files as the Keyword file was not
recognised as a CSV type of file but did successfully import.
There are now four records in my destination.
Regards,
Steve.----------------------------------------------------------
