Hello all,

Well after 7 frustration filled years with Jaws and around the same length of time with BrailleNote I have decided to go the main-stream route: an Apple Mac. To my mind all screen reader providers have been upstaged by Apple's VoiceOver -- not an add on screen reader but an integral part of the operating system. Fancy being able to walk into a store, just like a sight dependant person, and buy a phone or computer off the shelf. Oh happy day. And the bonus! VoiceOver is good, the voice even breathes and is very understandable at higher speech rates.

La la la
Dave Mac Ransley

Don't forget saving documents as jpg files. Instead of that, why
not just actually let formatting itself be supported?? Why save
files as pictures just to retain formatting, when hw could have
actually put in formatting commands recognized by other
computers? If Mac and Windows can exchange files, I have no idea
why Windows CE and Windows cannot do the same.

Have a great day,
Alex

What's irritating to me is that, comparatively, Keysoft 8 has so
little to offer. Even the new Bookshare support doesn't come
into the picture; just Keychat and Audible support.

I figure 2009, but at this rate, 2010 would not surprise me at
all.

Have a great day,

Wow... Fall of 2008, February 2009, April 2009, June 2009, now
August
of 2009? Come on!! Just a status update would be nice, but all
this
silence and then the users having to ask tech support, who
aren't
allowed to say anything about upcoming releases anyway, for a
timeline
of a product that is nearing a year late in coming? HW's PR team
really needs an overhaul, in my 2-cent opinion.

Have a great day,
Alex
