Good day Maurice,
Obviously Dean Jackson didn't train you on moderating lists!
(Smile)
I think there should be a balance between too much interaction
and total silence from Humanware staffers on this list. I agree
with several other people on the list that it was time for
someone to show up and deal with the frustration and at least
some of the questions we had in the vacuum created when Jonnathan
left and Dean died. They never told us every move Humanware was
making but still managed to let us know someone was at least
listening.
Looking forward to KeySoft 8 getting out the door sometime soon
and maybe a newer hardware platform sometime in the next year or
so. The mPower is starting to show its age after four years. It
needs more memory, updated Windows CE, and hopefully
consideration of long standing requests by many of us for
programs like a bank account money manager, etc. Even the old
Blazie note takers had two different banking programs available
that ran on that limited hardware. Serious consideration should
be made for built in ethernet, wi-fi, and a user replaceable
battery when you get around to looking at newer hardware. I know
this world economy is probably not one that will allow for big
improvements in the short term but hopefully when we come out the
other side and begin to recover, you will have a plan to take us
forward with overdue changes to the hardware and firmware of
these devices.
Thanks
Richard Ehrler

I'm a very quite Moderator Nicole! Experience has shown me that
the
more you interfere with nature the more pain you cause. I and
several
other HumanWare staff receive either individual posts or daily
digests
from the list.
Regards
Maurice
