Hello All,
I have not been able to use my cf card in the pcmcia slot with the wireless card, because of its size, which is 32 gb it must be removed before using the wireless card. When I go to a web site, I get the message virtual memory is 2 percent, and then I am able to go to the web site, but I get locked up within a minute or two of being on a particular page.
This is all with Keysoft 8 running on a bn 32 cell.
Thanks,

Robert Stigile

Alex, it makes no difference which slot the card is in, or it
hasn't for me, let me just put it like that.

What about if you use the card in the cf slot? Do you still have
all those problems? Is anyone else having such difficulties?

Have a great day,
Alex

Hey Folks, B. D. Rurry here with some thoughts on the new
Keysoft
upgrade. As my subject line asks, "is it a good thing for all BN
users?

With all due respect, I'm going to state for a lot of us, it
isn't so good.

First and foremost, you will have difficulties going up on the
net because you're going to get the verbal warning "memory is
less than 2 or 3 percent. That doesn't give you much to work
with
if you plan to be on a site for a while. This is not a good
thing
what with constantly dealing with all the privacy dialog boxes
you get and have to work through.

I know I was crowing the other day about being able to use my
PcMcia card with my wireless card in the machine. This is using
the Ambicom 54 G. Well, strange as it may sound, for the first
day, I could use the wireless card with the PC card in. No
longer, you can't do that. You can't download or send email with
the PC card in. To send or receive your emails, you _must remove
the PC card, do a reset, turn the machine off, remove the
wireless card, turn the machine back on insert the wireless card
again and go from there.

Aside from those two things, personally I have no use nor do I
care about Keychat. No, I don't have any use for the GPS related
stuff, nor do I really care about joining another pay site to get
books.

I suppose it's a good thing that a few more printers may be
supported, but, I don't worry about that, I've got an HP printer
that works fabulously with my BN.

Summing my thoughts up, if you don't have access to a computer
and like to surf the web, Keysoft 8.0 isn't for you. Stay with
your 7.5 build whatever.

Of course, if you're in to the Keychat, Gps, and joining another
pay booksite, then go for it with my blessings!

Till next time, this is Mr. B. D. Rurry, Esquire, Rurrysville

USA and proud of it!!
