The BrailleNote doesn't write tru "Word" documents. If you open a .doc created on the BN using your PC, the document will be recognized as a rich text format file, not a Word document.

I believe it's Word 2003 format (doc). Be aware that Word 2007 (docx) files are not currently supported as well as Word files that contain complex formatting such as tables.

As for your blink nation question. I can't really help you with that as I had some problems with the registration form and was unable to sign up; sorry!

Subject: [Braillenote] MS word file version

Dear listers,
I was wondering what version of Mircro Soft the BN uses when it
creates a MS word file.
Also, does anyone use Blink Nation with the BN?
This is a screen reader friendly website similar to Myspace.
