If they did that, though, then people would not buy ks8. This is why the
model of being able to buy applications and use keysoft upgrades only to fix
bugs or add system features (as has been suggested in the past) is a good
one. If you never use keychat, don't buy it, but if you want it but do not
care about other features of an upgrade, just buy keychat.
