I think that this feature, while a nice gesture, was not thought out enough. Personally, I feel that it should work like this: the web browser is open, and the ram it needs is checked against the remaining ram. If there is room, keyweb continues to open and no notice is given to the user. Then, when the user opens a web page, the ram requirement of that page (using size of the page) is gotten; if not enough ram remains, the user is given a message and the page will not load, otherwise the page is allowed to load like normal. If a script is encountered, ram requirements are re-evaluated, and the check is made again. I think this type of thing was already tried, which is why we keep seeing that "not enough storage is available" message, but the whole thing needs to be made much more precise. Telling me that ram is below a certain percentage, or that not enough storage remains for the command, does nothing if my unit continues to work.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] We need a patch!

Hello; Listers, including Humanware. I do believe that we need a patch for Keysoft 8.0! This virtual memory stuff is happening to me more frequently. I personally am annoyed with this feature. I can't go on keyweb because its already telling me that the virtual memory is below 3% or 2%. This is annoying! So what? I can't download anything anymore or stream the radio? Please Humanware listen to my email!
