try connecting it to AC power then switching it on

Hi all,
I am hoping someone is out there that can help. This darned holiday
weekend means no one is at tech support for three days and I need my
Empower. It was working just fine. It has keysoft 8 installed. I
cancelled an alarm and then noted my clock was 5 minutes off and went in
to utilities to reset the time. I then turnedof fhte unit and walked
away. Now I cannot get it to turn on. I have tried resetting and
nothing happens. I can't remember any of the super fancy resets they have
suggested in the past. I know one includes pushing in the record button.
Just in case it makes a difference this is a qt model with a 32 cell
display.
