Hi,
No, that's not true... Vista does support WEP, although the Wireless wizrd
there recommends WPA.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Vista only supports WPA? Is this true?

Hi all,
Here's the situation: My dad bought a new laptop with Vista on it. I
heard from another list I'm subscribed to that Windows Vista only
supports WPA wireless protection and doesn't support WEP. Is this
true? For users of KeySoft 8 on the BrailleNote family of products,
does Keysoft 8 support WPA? If both of the above are true, then I may
need to purchase KS 8 in order to be able to use the wireless network
as my BrailleNote still can't connect since we got the laptop
connected to the network. Just want to verify this information and
have all the facts straight before I go about purchasing anything.
Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Siena.
